1974 wants it’s desk seat back! (Unless you’re a psychologist, then it’s normal to own this...)

I’m considering changing my major to furniture design. Right now I’m product design but furniture is actually pretty cool.

Furniture is very cool.
You could create the next Eames Chair. Who knows

The Lalevee chair.
Could get used to saying it. Although I think I’ll just stick with product as my major and do furniture when I want to. Charles Eames never had a degree in furniture design and he did great things. He didn’t even finish his architecture degree.

Furniture should have straight lines. This is better:
If this was orange it’d be perfect:

There’s a chair at my local second hand store that looks a lot like that. Plus it’s actually vintage..
$80 plus maybe $200 for recovering in Leather and you’re good! Shipping would still be a bear though.

This one is also vintage, but designer danish vintage hence the price.

I dig a lot of the midcentury stuff, but the light fixtures were just terrible.

All the most interesting people (inc Architects - Lautner for example) never finished their degree :)

Although these days you need a license to be an architect.
